When Lloyd Tronco left employment in McCann-Erickson in 2005, he established his own out-of-home media company, where he led a team erecting billboards and LED signs around the bustling streets of Metro Manila. Running the company for 15 years, despite the many hardships in between, things we doing great…until the Enhanced Community Quarantine was declared in March 2020 where the metropolis suddenly became a ghost town.
Like all other businesses which have been greatly affected by COVID-19 and the quarantine, he made the decision to finally close the business in September 2020. While losing a business, especially to forces beyond anyone’s control, the advertising veteran saw the silver lining of his unfortunate circumstance – an opportunity to shift careers and pursue a lifelong passion.
